Pedagogical Engineer Channels are calm educational shopfronts for teacher-designed support i.e. diagnostic tests, SOTS Prompts, XVC Pocket Practice, video memorandums, subscriptions, Club resources and access-code protected learning routes.
The idea at a glance
Each Channel should explain the educator’s support route before it sells anything.
Support starts with evidence.
Where available the Diagnostic tests and resource catalogues help families see what kind of remediation or practice is actually needed.
Not every resource opens the same way.
Items may be free, included in the XVC Club, part of a subscription, sold once-off or unlocked through a nomination/access code.
The page must stay calm.
The goal is to guide a learner into appropriate support, not overwhelm parents with sales noise or technical jargon.
What is a PE?
A Pedagogical Engineer turns teaching expertise into a reusable learning route.
A Pedagogical Engineer is an educator whose professional judgement is built into a Channel: the order of support, the resources, the diagnostic entry points, the SOTS Prompt routes and the way learners are encouraged to practise and correct their thinking.
The technology may deliver the route at scale, but the educational structure should remain traceable to the educator. That is why the Channel page matters: it lets a parent or learner see the person, the subjects, the services and the available resources in one place.
Knowledge may be a prompt away, but mastery still has to be earned.
Channel discovery
Start with the learner’s subject, language and support need.
Use the filters to narrow the list. The cards remain high-level on purpose; each PE Channel contains the fuller profile, subscriptions, resources, access labels, ratings and moderated reviews.
