You earn access to a high-accountability learning group.
The FBA Group is for families who want weekly mastery, visible accountability, and a system that does not accept “we meant to do it” as progress.
The XVC Teaching Ecosystem
FBA Group membership runs on South African Standard Time because SAST is simple, stable, and globally practical: GMT+2, with no daylight-saving changes.
South Africa is a strong central reference point for a global weekly learning rhythm — close enough to the middle of world time zones to serve families across continents with one clear standard.
The philosophy: Access must be earned.
We believe learning improves when there is a clear weekly rhythm, honest feedback, and a meaningful consequence for not participating. FBA Group membership is built around persistence until mastery, not perfection on the first attempt.
Mastery is required
Each week must end in 100% achievement. The number of attempts does not matter. The commitment to keep going does.
Attempts are unlimited
Learners can retry, correct, ask, reflect, and improve. The system rewards persistence and responsibility.
Reports create accountability
Every Monday, the report gives parents a clear view of participation and mastery. It removes guesswork.
How the weekly cycle works.
The system is designed for short, regular participation. Families may choose to leave it until Sunday, but the standard remains the same: mastery by the Monday 00:00 SAST deadline (check the clock above).
Weekly learning task opens
The new weekly cycle opens every Monday at 08:00 SAST. The learner receives access to the weekly mastery activity, built around current and previous learning.
Higher-order questions test thinking
Questions are shuffled and may be randomly selected from a larger question bank to reduce rote memorisation and encourage real understanding.
Feedback guides improvement
The learner uses the Teaching Ecosystem, the OTS Tutor, prompts, video-memorandums, and other support to close gaps.
Mastery must be reached
By Monday at 00:00 SAST, the learner must have achieved 100%. Not because first attempts must be perfect, but because unfinished learning must not be ignored.
The membership rules are simple.
FBA Group membership is offered at a reduced fee because it is not passive access. It is a commitment-based learning agreement where access is earned every week.

Important compliance rule
If a learner does not achieve 100% for the weekly mastery activity by Monday 00:00 SAST, FBA Group access will be suspended when the Monday reports are processed.
This is not a judgment of the learner’s ability. It is a protection of the FBA Group standard. The group is for families who are prepared to engage with the process until mastery is achieved.
Why the questions are not built for memorising answers.
The aim is not to look busy. The aim is to become capable. That requires questions that force thinking, analysing, classification, and decision-making.
| Old habit | FBA Group expectation | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Do everything on Sunday to protect the report. | Use the week wisely, or accept that Sunday may become difficult. | Daily participation is more efficient, but the mastery standard stays the same. |
| Memorise answers from repeated attempts. | Face shuffled and randomised questions from a larger bank. | It pushes understanding instead of answer-copying. |
| Say, “I understand,” without proof. | Reach 100% through actual performance. | The Monday report becomes evidence, not opinion. |
| Wait until marks collapse before taking action. | Confront gaps every week. | Small weekly corrections prevent large academic surprises. |
Questions parents usually ask.
Is this only for top learners?
No. It is for committed learners. A learner may struggle, retry, ask for help, and take many attempts. The key requirement is persistence until mastery.
What if my child leaves everything until Sunday?
That is a family choice, but the standard does not change. The system is designed to make daily consistency easier than last-minute pressure.
Why does the FBA Group use South African time?
The programme was designed and built in South Africa. SAST is also a stable UTC+2 reference with no daylight-saving shifts, making it practical for a global learning rhythm.
Why is suspension part of the model?
Because the discounted FBA Group is not ordinary access. It is an earned-membership structure. Suspension protects the seriousness and integrity of the group.
Does 100% mean my child must get everything right the first time?
No. The number of attempts is not the issue. The learner must continue until the weekly activity (100% for the test) is mastered.
Apply for FBA Group membership.
Before applying, please make sure you understand the standard: weekly mastery is required, Monday reports are used as evidence, all deadlines follow South African Standard Time, and non-compliance will lead to suspension of FBA Group access.
